Nailing Winter with Sally Hansen

I have exclusively been using Sally Hansen nail polishes for a while, and I have to say they are by far my favourite brand. There are so many different colours to choose from, the application is dreamy and I can confidently say they last for a good few weeks!

The festive season has me reaching for deep reds, dark purples and shiny nudes week after week. I’m especially obsessed with these four Sally Hansen colours. Darker shades compliment any outfit, and you can even go one step further by going for a matching lip. What are your favourite nail polishes for the festive season?

370 | Commander in Chic (£6.99)

This is a bit of an anomaly colour, it doesn’t scream Christmas but I love a nude so, I had to include one! I always like the option to tone down my nail colour to compliment a maybe-not-so-subtle Christmas jumper. I know I don’t like glitter but this with a silver glitter polish over the top…dreamy!

670 | Haute Chocolate (£6.99)

This is as close I’ll get to having glittery-ish nails, as although I love a bit of glitter I cannot cope with taking it off and all the glitter getting caught on the cotton pad…Anyway, I love this colour it’s a nice compromise and the fact it’s called Haute Chocolate makes it perfect for the festive season!

632 | Society Ruler (£6.99)

Red nails are my ultimate go- to throughout the year but I prefer the deeper reds during the winter. Like a red lip, it’s timeless! Dark red polish is always a good decision and this shade is the perfect one, the finish is glossy and the application is an absolute dream…just two coats and you’re good to go.

660 | Pat on the Black (£6.99)

Go beyond your basic black and add a depth of mystery by adding hints of deep purples. This colour makes me feel uber sophisticated, it’s a lot moodier than any colour I would normally wear but I’m constantly being drawn to this colour. The finish is high-gloss and reflects hints of lights when you move- enchanting!

Whether you like flecks of glitter or deep, dark polishes the festive season is here! So, get some hot chocolate, pop on a Christmas film and pamper yourself by painting your nails before all those Christmas party’s start.
